Amazing hidden gem. The atmosphere is perfect and you can get a flight of cheesecake. and the 120 flavor cheesecakes go well with the beautiful assortment of teas. Must go place when in Lexington, Kentucky.
I do not like cheesecake. I repeat. I do not like cheesecake. This was the *best* cheesecake I have ever had. Not too sweet, not too dense-- it was just right. Her flights also give you just a little taste of everything if you don't know what to pick. Forget everything you think you know about cheesecake because this is the only place you need to get it from. Exceptional. Will be back.
We stayed at a place walking distance from here and decided to try it on our way through town. So glad we stopped. This cheesecake is AMAZING. Seasonal flavors - we had lemon tart, orange creamsicle and strawberry shortcake. Bites of mint, coffee and apple. Creamy smooth and made us want more, lovely lady who ran the shop.
If you like a dense and creamy cheesecake then this is absolutely the place to go! I tried the Orange Creamsicle cheesecake and it had a fantastic flavor and texture. You can see the bits of orange zest in the cheesecake, and it has the perfect balance of creamy and citrus. The crust does not go up the side and is soft, which is perfect in my opinion. Their tea selection is also delightful! The Cherry Rose Green Tea is a great pairing for any fruity cheesecake and they brewed it perfectly!
My sister got one for a dinner at her house (spun honey and pistachio) the cheesecake was absolutely amazing. It surpassed any cheesecake I have ever tasted! I will be getting one the wonderful cheesecakes next time in Lexington.
Ruth is such an incredible woman. We are so grateful that we had her incredible cheesecakes at our wedding, they were beautiful and our guests were obsessed with how delicious they were! The photos speak for themselves, absolute artistry!
Ruth’s cheesecakes are out of this world!! Ordered a cheesecake with the fruit compote and it was absolutely over the top. We celebrated my son‘s birthday, and everyone was gushing over this cheesecake - and I come from a family of cooks and bakers, not easy to earn this kind of endorsement! Do not hesitate, and from what I understand she also makes a dairy free cheesecake! Ten stars!
Quiet secluded Lexington hidden gem!!! I put their cheesecake as good if not better than Missy's Pies!! The cheesecake is as thick as molasses the staff inside is so kind and thoughtful everything about this place is absolutely wonderful more people need to come here!! I walked in and it smell was so great I had to stand for a second and just breathe it in. On the weekends they also offer a crepes and grilled cheese menu. The only bad thing I can say about this place is they definitely need more parking!
